Beyond the abundance of peppers, tomatoes, greens, roots, and herbs, the space features a tranquil Koi fish pond, adding a layer of peace and completeness. This productive homestead is a pollinator haven, boasting a beehive for honey and a flock of eight egg-laying hens, making it a powerful symbol of food sovereignty and generational gardening achievement in the city.

Our honey is a delicious reflection of 25 years of committed urban gardening. As a new beekeeper, I successfully harvested 69 ounces of intensely sweet, unfiltered honey from the first three frames. This exceptional quality is guaranteed by the sheer diversity of my garden.

• Garden-Grown Feast: Our hens enjoy a daily diet of fresh garden bounty, including tomatoes, herbs, apples, peaches, and greens—never any table scraps!
• Optimal Nutrition: We prepare special snacks, including scrambled eggs with shells and a touch of chili powder, supplementing their premium feed for the healthiest birds and the creamiest yolks.
• Delicacy Dozen: We currently harvest four different types of eggs, including the particularly succulent, high-demand pullet eggs.
Their health, cleanliness (coops cleaned weekly), and fresh, custom diet ensure that every brown egg is a fresh, delicious reflection of our thriving garden.
